Question: My Dad hates my girlfriend, what do I do?

When it comes to your dad..keep it dad and son or family stuff, when it comes to your girlfriend keep it you and girlfriend stuff. No one can choose your LOVE for your (in the US anyway) and to be quite frank you cannot control how much you feel for your gf or your loyalty to your dad as his son. Its not a easy pill to swallow but you will have to learn how to separate what is going on b/c if not it will only get worse for you.

this is why you shouldn't bitch to family - this mess is your fault. Basically if your going to be a man, that means making your own choices your beloved parents don't agree with - do you want to be under their thumb for the rest of your life ? i thought marine officers were made of stearn stuff ? you need to tell your parents you and her have made up and moved on and if they can't be mature and do the same this will hurt you and they are not the people you thought. maybe even go so far to say bullying people have no place in your life
